PAR1 Workshop

What is PAR1?

PAR1 is a Process Advancement and Redesign workshop.  It is a highly interactive workshop that can be run as a 2- or 3-day event.  PAR1 uses accelerated learning principles to teach the concepts of process advancement and redesign.

The first part of the workshop takes your team through our Shrink-Wrapped Homes simulation. This gives your team immediate hands-on experience in applying what they have learned.  The remainder of the event is used to jumpstart your process redesign efforts by identifying non-value-added activities and waste and developing a plan for change.

PAR1 is designed for 12 to 21 participants working in facilitated teams of 6 to 7 people.  During the workshop, participants will learn or re-learn the fundamentals of problem-solving embedded in Six Sigma and Lean Methodologies for both incremental and radical process change and immediately apply these fundamentals to a simulated order management process.

This workshop has been attended by people at all levels of the organization worldwide.

The PAR1 workshop is offered through the teaming of Burrus Associates and Measure by Measure Consulting.  Both companies are committed to educating and applying the principles of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies and tools to improve our clients' business performance.

Workshop Contents

The PAR1 workshop allows participants to apply what they learn to a simulated process and to their "real world" business processes.
